The people in our team are predominantly from the University of Cambridge, where we were founded. We've brought in global leaders from industry to plug us into the latest deals. Our soul is in legal and technological empowerment of consumers.

This convergence of talents gives us our edge. Our technology from Day 1 was built to be a legal guardian for consumers, trained on consumer data—T&Cs, watchdog reports, court cases, reviews—never before used for these purposes.

Our legal expertise means we can make sense of that data and harness it into a powerful consumer protection tool. Our AI expertise is not just AI expertise: it's legal AI expertise. We've tapped into a network of only a handful of minds worldwide specialising in Natural Language Processing (a branch of AI) relating to legal contracts; and the only minds that deal with consumer contract AI.

We've had to reinvent methods of training AI models, including double-blind techniques to ensure our analysis is as neutral as possible. Our legal teams are not influenced by our own business interests, or personal bias. Neutrality is maintained by multiple isolated teams agreeing on the merits and dangers of each and every clause, of each and every provider's T&Cs.

We're also pioneering new ways of integrating legal theory and consumer rights into the mechanics of legal AI. We're not interested in huge generative models. We're interested in purpose-built, focused, confident AI addressing consumer rights and needs across a range of industries.
